"You who have escaped the sword, Get away! Do not stand still! Remember the LORD afar off, And let Jerusalem come to your mind." (Jeremiah 51:50)
There is an expectation that God has of inhabitants of Zion in this hour and it is in Isaiah 12:6 which says, "Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!” Over the course of this month, I want you to schedule times and themes for which to cry aloud and shout irrespective of how Satan attempts to distract you. And make no mistakes about it, distractions will come.
So what does this mean to praise by schedule and in themes? In Psalm 119:164, David said, "Seven times a day I praise You, Because of Your righteous judgments." He was deliberate about praising God, not because of his feelings but because of God's righteous judgements.
Saints, this month there will be times, you won't feel like praising God but your praise should not be feeling-based. Just so you know, in Zion, praise for you is a civic duty. It is the acknowledgement that God is in our midst. This is why you will have to pull out your calendar and set at least seven times of praise this month.
What are you praising God for? Praise Him for His righteous judgements in these seven areas; deliverance from evil, family, finances, Grace House Church globally, victory over the enemy, marriages in our church (present and future) and the Year 2023.
Understand that this has nothing to do with your feelings, experiences or con-temporality, no. Rather, let your praise be based on what God has said in His word concerning these seven themes.
It is time to cry aloud and shout.
God bless you!
Faith-Filled Confession
I cry aloud and shout because the LORD is in our midst. My praise is therefore an acknowledgement of the move of God that I do not yet see with my optical eyes but recognize as a present reality. Hallelujah!!!
