CONTINUE IN THE LOVE OF GOD

8/5/2025

“Continue in brotherly love. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.”—Hebrews 13:1–2

Several years ago, I made a personal decision: no matter what others believe, I will hold fast to the reality of salvation in Jesus Christ. Even if every preacher I know were to say that Christ's work is a lie, I would not be moved. Why? Because I have encountered Him. His victory over sin, sickness, defeat, and the devil is not just a belief—it’s a living revelation in my spirit. I know I am a victor in Christ Jesus. I’m not hoping or wondering—I know!

This is the kind of conviction every believer must carry. Without it, the life we are called to live in Christ will always seem optional—subject to opinion, debate, or societal approval. Unfortunately, many today miss out on the fullness of the Spirit simply because they align with an environment that does not embrace the truth of God's Word.

I remember a story shared by Pastor Benny Hinn about a woman who received a miracle in one of his healing meetings. For months, she thrived in an atmosphere of faith and miracles. But when members of her previous church (which denied the reality of miracles) convinced her to return, her healing eventually reversed. That environment of unbelief took its toll, and sadly, she passed away. What a sobering reminder: the spiritual environment you dwell in matters. It feeds or starves your faith.

So what is the Spirit saying to us in this season? Continue in brotherly love. Don’t let the wickedness of this world harden your heart. You may have been hurt, rejected, or disappointed by people, but don’t allow bitterness to cut off your flow of love. Refuse to conform to a culture of offense, hatred, or division. Love is our way. It’s our nature.

Hebrews 13:2 adds, “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some have entertained angels unaware.”That means divine encounters may be waiting on the other side of your kindness. Every time you choose love over retaliation, mercy over judgment, and kindness over anger, you align with heaven.

Jesus said, “If you love Me, you will do what I say” (John 14:15). So, walk in love. Be the hands and voice of Christ to someone today. Let the fragrance of your life be the unmistakable aroma of divine compassion.

You never know—your next act of love could be a seed that unlocks someone’s deliverance... or your own.

Faith-Filled Confession

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for loving me and filling my heart with Your Spirit. Today, I choose to walk in love. I refuse to allow the darkness of this world to pollute my nature. I choose kindness, forgiveness, and compassion. I live the transcendent life in Christ and reflect His light to everyone around me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
