COMPELLING A CHANGE

01/25/2025

"Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." (Luke 4:23)

Very many times on earth, God's desires for your life, ministry and family may not be your experience. He may have spoken a word that the job you prayed about is yours or that that child that you asked Him to heal is healed and still, you do not see a change. Is the word of God then invalid? God forbid. Did you not hear God correctly? This is a probability but not a certainty.

Brothers and sisters, the Lord may indeed have given you a word and you may have heard it accurately and still, your change is in abeyance. Why? Because of your ignorance of the unholy trinity;  the world, the flesh and the devil conspiring relentlessly to invalidate the Word of God in your life.

I call these three the unholy trinity because they work as one to thwart God's word from being actualized in your life. If there is any stubborn issue that has defied prayer, it's not that your prayer is unimportant but you have not taken the issue into the arena of faith.

1 Timothy 6:12 says, "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses." The Bible didn't say to fight the flesh, the world or the devil, no. But it tells you how to fight by compelling a situation through your confession of the Word of God.

Understand that the flesh (the dominion of the five senses) has been whipped. Galatians 5:24 says, "And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." The world (the antichrist way of thinking) has also been demobilized. "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith." (1 John 5:4). And then, the prince of the world, the devil has been defeated on your behalf. Colossians 2:15 says, "Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."

If the ungodly trinity has been trounced, then it must mean one thing when change is still in abeyance,  in the natural. It must mean that you must compel it via the good fight of faith. The good fight of faith entails three things which we will deal with over the next few days; meditation and failth proclamations; acts of service and seed faith.

Yes, the ungodly trinity has been defeated but while we are here on earth, there is an overcoming to compel change that is necessary. Eight times throughout the Book of Revelations, the phrases, "...he that overcomes" (Revelations 2:11; 2:26; 3:5 and 21:7) and "...him that overcomes" (Rvelations 2:7; 2:17; 3:12 and 3:21) are used to convey the idea of the victory that is compellable by the good fight of faith.Have a beautiful.

Faith-Filled Confession

I live by faith and not by sensory perception. The world's way of thinking is subdued by my declarations of the word of God and I am moving with the Lord in the realm of signs and wonders to His glory and praise. Hallelujah!!!!
