CITIZENS OF HEAVEN

3/30/2026

“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 3:20

As believers, we must never forget where we truly belong. Though we live on earth, our citizenship is in heaven. This means our identity, values, and way of living are not defined by this world, but by the Kingdom of God.

Being a citizen of heaven changes everything. It affects how you think, how you speak, and how you respond to life. You are not subject to the limitations of this world system—you operate by a higher reality.

While others may be shaken by uncertainty, you remain steadfast because your hope is anchored in Christ. While others conform to the patterns of this world, you are called to live differently—reflecting the nature and culture of heaven.

This also means we live with expectation. We eagerly await the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and we live each day in a way that honors Him.

Today, remember who you are. You are not just a resident of earth—you are a citizen of heaven. Let your life reflect your heavenly identity in all that you do.

Faith-Filled Confession:

I am a citizen of heaven. My life reflects the values and nature of God’s Kingdom. I am not limited by this world system. I live with purpose, hope, and expectation, honoring Jesus in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
