“Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from His perspective” (Colossians 3:2 MSG).
Understanding the Scriptures is essential to walking in God's plans for your life. The Scriptures reveal God's mind about every situation you will face and serve as your primary tool for dealing with these situations. The power to shape your day lies within your spirit. In other words, no circumstance can dictate your day without your consent. What happens in your life is determined by the words that come from your spirit.
Jesus said in Matthew 18:18 (ISV), “I tell all of you with certainty, whatever you prohibit on earth will have been prohibited in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will have been permitted in heaven.” Jesus is telling you that what is happening now is because you have allowed it in the spiritual realm—whether good or bad. Once you permit something spiritually, the resources to bring it to reality are set in motion. If faced with a negative situation, you can either reject it by standing on Christ's finished work and speaking God's truth, or you can allow it by inaction. Thus, knowing the Scriptures is not just important; it is essential to your life. Your intimate knowledge of Jesus determines your daily experience. A glorious day is entirely up to you.
God has brought you into this day with a single purpose: to live your best life and fully embrace the divine life given to you at salvation. Declare, “I will live my best life today.” You were born with a purpose far beyond what you can imagine. When God created the earth as your operational base, He intended for you to achieve great results and significant accomplishments. God's plan for your life today is enormous. That’s why the Holy Spirit is with you right now, guiding you to see things from Christ’s perspective and helping you experience a glorious day. He wants you to live with the understanding that Christ’s finished work on your behalf is eternally settled.
Living this way is the key to having a glorious day, every day. Many might doubt that every day can be glorious, but I made a decision long ago to view life through Christ’s perspective. If He said it, then it is settled. If the Scriptures depict a glorious day for you, then regardless of what you see, feel, hear, or experience, every day is glorious. Period! Regardless of challenges, keep your focus on VICTORY. Proverbs 4:18 (MSG) states, “The ways of right-living people glow with light; the longer they live, the brighter they shine.” This means that today’s glory far exceeds all the glory of your past. What is available to you today surpasses everything from your entire life up until now. Approach today with excitement, knowing that incredible possibilities are within you through Christ. Embrace today with a sense of victory and see life from Christ’s perspective. Praise God!
Faith-Filled Confession:
I choose to see my life from Christ’s perspective. He calls me blessed; therefore, I am blessed. He calls me healed; therefore, I am healed. He calls me wise; therefore, I function with wisdom. He calls me righteous; therefore, I am righteous. Today is a glorious day for me. I am victorious and full of joy! Hallelujah!
