"You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked" (Psalm 91:5-8).
Have you been listening to the whispers lately? Perhaps the enemy has been murmuring defeat, impossibilities, doubt, death, and confusion into your heart. But listen to what God is saying in Proverbs 10:28: "The hope of the righteous will be gladness, But the expectation of the wicked will perish." In simpler terms, the outcome of your life can only be good. Even more, everything that was meant to bring you grief, sorrow, loss, defeat, or misery has been turned into joy for you. Romans 8:28 declares, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
Joseph experienced this grace, particularly when his brothers sold him into slavery, hoping to thwart God's vision for his life. But when Joseph was reunited with them, he said, "Don't you see? You planned evil against me, but God used those very plans for my good, as you can see all around you now—life for many people" (Genesis 50:20 MSG).
Are you facing a tumultuous situation that relentlessly whispers, "It's over for you; you'll never have a child, get married, find healing, succeed in ministry, or break free from debt"? Listen, child of God, your life is not your own; it belongs to God. And God, by His own oath, has declared that His Word spoken over your life will never fail. Just as Jesus commanded the devil to be silent, you, too, can command any adversity to Hush! Recall when Jesus assured His disciples in Mark 4 that they would reach the other side. Suddenly, a fierce windstorm arose, and mighty waves threatened to engulf them. The disciples, gripped by fear, cried out, "Master, we're going to drown!" Where did they learn such a language? It had to be from the perilous situation they faced. The wind and waves taunted them, seemingly declaring, "You'll never make it to the other side." But Jesus, awakened from sleep by His disciples, "... rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating), and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness)" (Mark 4:39).
Now, say to that boisterous condition, "Hush! In Jesus' Name!' I am healed, victorious, and prosperous. The Lord has blessed me with [fill in the blank (a child, spouse, house, etc.)]." Declare that it is getting better for you, and those who doubted the hand of God upon you will now testify of the God that is with you! In Jesus' name, Amen!
Psalm 91:5-8 says, "You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked."
So, let not your heart be troubled. You are about to surprise many in Jesus' name.
Shout Amen!
Faith-Filled Confession:I am healed, prosperous, victorious, and joyful, advancing on every side. My story is one of grace and fruitfulness. People are coming from far and near to favor me. I see God in everything I do today, His empowerment evident to all in Jesus' name. Amen.
