"So he said to me, 'This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: "Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit," says the LORD Almighty.'" Zechariah 4:6
You may not feel like the power of God is working in you right now, but it is. And you must believe it for it to change anything around you. Philippians 2:13 says, “[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.” Hallelujah! Praise God! And if you thought that was good, then let’s read Ephesians 3:20: “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].” Notice it says that the power of God to do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] resides on the inside of us. Glory!
So my question to you today is this: With this kind of power working in us, how can we fail? How can we not display the supernatural? Honestly, it’s impossible to fail if we yield to the Holy Spirit. The only time we display things that fall short of the glory of God is when we ignore the directive of the Holy Spirit. But if you will yield to the Word like Jesus did and the great men and women of old did, people will marvel at the display of divinity in and through you. You will be an oasis of the power and the authority of Christ on the earth, a stream of the miraculous.
I love what the angel said in Zechariah 4:6-7: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty. Then he turned and said to what was a limitation or obstacle, “For who are you, O great mountain [of human obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel...” In other words, have you lost your mind, obstacles? He said this with the understanding that there was an operation of the Spirit at work in the life of Zerubbabel. And as long as the Spirit was at work in Zerubbabel, anything coming against him was on a collision course with God Almighty--doomed to fail.
Saint, this is the picture of the Spirit of God in you. It’s a picture of the miraculous. So hold this picture of the miraculous before you day and night. Meditate on it and don’t let it go. Your surrounding environment may not agree with it, but hold it still and refuse to see anything else. Remember, it’s not by might nor by power but by the HOLY SPIRIT.
Hallelujah!
Faith-Filled Confession
I am a wonder to my world today. The power of the Holy Spirit in me breaks every limit and contradiction. I advance by the power of the Holy Spirit today. Nothing is impossible unto me in the name of Jesus Christ. I am a walking and talking wonder of God’s grace. Praise God!
