"And these signs shall follow them that believe: In My name, they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17-18).
When Jesus said, "These signs shall follow them that believe: In My name, they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover," He was not making a promise or suggesting that these signs would only happen when we fast and pray. Rather, He was declaring a fact! Everything necessary to bring these signs into manifestation has already been accomplished.
Consider this: a dog doesn’t need to muster faith to bark; it barks because it’s a dog. Similarly, these miraculous signs follow you because you are born of God. They do not occur because you fasted and prayed; they happen as a natural outflow of who you are in Christ Jesus.
Healing the sick and casting out devils in the name of Jesus is natural. The next time you encounter a demonic presence, simply say, “In the name of Jesus Christ, come out, you unclean spirit, and return no more!” It will be so, according to Philippians 2:9-11, Matthew 28:18, and Luke 10:19.
Let me emphasize: you don't have to struggle to manifest these signs. You just need to be a Christian. Praise God that you are! Think about it: how can you convince an atheist that Jesus Christ actually died and resurrected without signs? It’s almost impossible.
This reminds me of T.L. Osborn, who went on a mission trip to India for five years without witnessing the miraculous and could not win a single soul. Frustrated, he returned to the United States, encountered the God of miracles, and then went back to India. What he could not do in five years, he did in one meeting, with thousands of souls won for Christ.
Brethren, we don't have an option. This is who we are: miraculous. Hallelujah!
Faith-Filled Confession
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I am a sign and a wonder to the peoples of the earth today. I walk as guided by Your Spirit to bring hope and grace to my world. I see the lame walk, the deaf hear, the blind see, and the dead raised back to life, all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Glory!
