"So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” (1 Chronicles 20:20)
The prophet is a gift to the Body of Christ in many ways, particularly in financial and material prosperity. Prophets can decode economic seasons as did Joseph to the Pharaoh of Egypt (refer to Genesis 41:29-30) and Agabus in the New Testament (refer to Acts 11:28).
However, there are prophets who are also able to change the economic fortunes of persons, families and nations as recorded about Elijah and Elisha at different times. One time in Israel, the economy was so bad that people began resorting to cannibalism, what the king said afterwards was very instructive about the role of the prophet in the sustenance of God's people. He said, "...“God do so to me and more also if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat remains on him today!” (2 Kings 6:31). In essence, the king was saying the economic well-being of God's people was one of the responsibilities of the prophet.
Quick question: Was Elisha suffering with the rest of the country? 2 Kings 6:32 says, "But Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him. And the king sent a man ahead of him, but before the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, “Do you see how this son of a murderer has sent someone to take away my head? Look, when the messenger comes, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door. Is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?” The man was luxuriating with the elders.
When Elisha finally gave the word of the LORD, he said, "...Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’ ” (2 Kings 7:1). The experts laughed and said it was impossible.
Why have I shared this with you, today? I have shared this message with you today because a similar miracle is in the offing for you this year. You are going to roll in so much prosperity but first, your duty is to believe the word of God to you. As a matter of fact, if you are struggling with believing some of the contents of the message, the Year of Wonder, keep playing it until it registers in your spirit.
This is your year to be a wonder to many for the glory and praise of God.
Have a beautiful day!
Faith-Filled Confession
I believe the Word of God to me and because I do, I am a partaker of everything it talks about. I have been lodged in supernatural prosperity and as I prosper, the work of God also prospers in my hands. Hallelujah!

Pray and declare that our manner of life as a body of believers does attract men and women everywhere to the Lord Jesus Christ. Ask that everyone of us will have the boldness to live, speak and stand for righteousness and manifest the wonder of God under all circumstance.
Declare that the grace and anointing to do wonders in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is unstoppable in your life this year.
