BEAUTIFUL FEET THAT BRING GOOD NEWS

9/23/2025

“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns’” (Isaiah 52:7).

One of the greatest privileges of our Christian walk is that God has entrusted us with His message of life. Think about it—He could have chosen angels to preach the gospel, yet He gave this assignment to you and me. Why? Because the redeemed are best positioned to testify of redemption. We are the living proof of His grace.

But too often, we lose sight of this high calling. Life’s pressures and personal offenses try to shrink our vision. It’s easy to magnify our problems, to rehearse who wronged us, or to focus on the difficulties in our path. Yet, the truth is this: problems are magnets for solutions. If challenges show up at your doorstep, it is because the God in you is greater than them. Hallelujah!

This is why we must not let distractions silence our voice. The gospel is not optional—it is our responsibility. Every believer is a messenger, a carrier of the good news. You are not just saved from something; you are saved for something: to tell the untold, to publish peace, and to declare salvation.

Paul puts it powerfully in Romans 10:13–15: “For, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? … As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’”

Notice, it is your feet that God calls beautiful. Not because of the shoes you wear, but because of the message you carry. Wherever you go, you bring heaven’s answer. Whether in the marketplace, your neighborhood, or your family gatherings—your presence is an opportunity for someone to hear that Jesus saves, heals, delivers, and restores.

Jesus Himself made it clear: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation”(Mark 16:15). That command has never expired. He also said in Acts 1:8, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” Beloved, that power is already in you. You have been equipped with boldness, wisdom, and grace to be an effective soul-winner.

The world is groaning under the weight of darkness, confusion, and hopelessness. But God’s solution is not in government programs or social systems—it is in His church. You are the balance factor of this generation. Your obedience in sharing the gospel is tied to the salvation of many. Some people will never hear about Jesus unless you tell them. Their eternity is linked to your voice.

Isaiah 52:7 paints a glorious picture of our assignment: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news… who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns.’” This is our anthem: Our God reigns! Not sickness, not poverty, not fear, not oppression—our God reigns through Christ Jesus, and He reigns in us.

So today, I challenge you: take this gospel personally. Be intentional about telling someone about Jesus. Smile, share your testimony, offer to pray with someone, and let the light of Christ in you shine bright. You are not just carrying words—you are carrying eternal life.

God bless you!

Faith-Filled Confession:

The Holy Spirit in me has empowered me to be an effective soul-winner. My feet are beautiful because I bring good news everywhere I go. I boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ with power and love, and I am fruitful in my ministry of reconciliation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
