BE VERSED IN THE BIBLE

03/08/2024

“Now the parable [of the sower] is this: The seed is the word of God...” ( Luke 8:11).

In this season of fruitfulness and uncommon favor, a seed is an all-important element because it bears within it the power to reproduce a harvest of the fruits of its particularity.

In Genesis 1:29, “…God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.” In other words, every outcome on this planet that you can imagine has a seed.

And this is one of the places where the divine and the human diverge. Divinity operates by seed time and harvest. But humans, on the other hand, use transactions. This is why when you become a part of God’s system, you have to prioritize God’s way of doing things. Jesus said, “But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also” (Matthew 6:33 AMP)

God’s way of getting any outcome or bearing fruit is to plant the seeds of your desired outcome. Now, Jesus explains to you in today’s theme scripture that the seed is the word.

So, if you don’t study the word of God, how can you know what to sow in your heart (which is the ground according to Luke 8:15) to bring forth fruit? How will you know what seeds to sow for employment, business expansion, church growth, and even the people your grandchildren marry?

Understand how God operates. He sowed Jesus so that He could get you as a harvest. Hebrews 2:9-10 says, “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”

This principle of sowing and reaping governs everything in the Kingdom of God. That’s why we pray every weekday. We are sowing so that in the fullness of time, we will reap a harvest. The same principle applies to your fruit-bearing responsibilities. You take seeds of the word of God and begin to plant them via meditation.

We have a guarantee that if we gather seeds and then scatter them on the grounds of our hearts, we will reap a harvest in the fullness of time. Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.” ( Mark 4:26-29)

There is a seed for the end of that skin condition. There is a seed to win souls in large numbers. There is a seed to have that child’s eyesight. Your job is to find the seeds in the Bible and plant and culture them until a harvest comes. That’s why you should be versed in the Bible.

Have an excellent day!

Faith-Filled Confession

I am a person of divine principles. And as I plant the seeds of the word in my heart concerning anything, like Isaac, I reap a hundredfold return because Yeho-Shua—the Self-Existent One Who saves—has blessed me. Hallelujah!

Prayer Points

  • Pray that our ministry will be received by those to whom we are sent (Romans 15:30-31).

  • Pray that God's people will live revived, broken, and awakened to God's will, grace, instruction, and correction in righteousness.

  • Pray that God's people will live undistracted by the pleasures of this world.

  • Pray that none of us will yield to the demands of the flesh and the devil.
