“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified their corrupt nature along with its passions and desires.” Galatians 5:24

Satan’s worst nightmare is you walking in the light of God’s Word. He doesn’t want you to know or walk in the light that you have the life and nature of God in you - eternal life. Neither does he want you to know that you are the emblem of Christ’s victory over hell and death. Listen, you are the reason why satan has no bragging right over humanity. Every step and breath that you take enforces his defeat 24/7. Praise God! So, see you in the light of God’s Word.

Galatians 5:16 GWT says that “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified their corrupt nature along with its passions and desires.” Meaning, you do not have a corrupt nature and a God nature at the same time. Because in verse 24 of the same chapter, it says, “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified their corrupt nature along with its passions and desires.” The word crucified means to put to death, destroy or mortify. They are not going to crucify the flesh; it says they have done so already! Glory to God! The Amplified puts it this way, “And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.” It means that the godless human nature was nailed to the cross with all the craziness that came with it. And when you were raised from the dead with Christ, that sinful and corrupt human nature did not rise up with you. You arose with Jesus with the divine life and nature just like Jesus. That’s why Paul cried out in Roman 6:14, “For sin shall no longer be your master!” Hallelujah!

In other words, whatever is listed in Galatians 5:19-21 is the character of the corrupt human nature, which by the way was nailed to the cross (Galatians 5:24) and is no longer in you. Meaning, you are not the person described in Galatians 5:19-21. Better still, you are not in bondage to any of these. You are born again! And Galatians 5:22-23 is God's picture of you. You are full of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Hallelujah!

Sister, you are not depressed, hopeless or boring. No! You are victorious! You are God's reproduction! Never say, “I am just an angry person” or “I am just so bitter” or “you know my mama was an angry person. I can’t help it. Maybe I’m just like her.” Don't talk like that! The bitterness and hopelessness were nailed to the cross with Jesus. You are a new kind of person with the life and nature of God; one who lacks the ability to be hopeless. Hallelujah!

Saints, I say to you today, be victorious on every count! Declare your dominion over darkness and its attributes and say this out loud, “I HAVE VICTORY OVER EVERY ATTRIBUTE OF THE FLESH. I REFUSE TO YIELD MY MIND, BODY AND MONEY AS INSTRUMENTS OF THE FLESH. I DECLARE THAT I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD. I AM HOLY. THEREFORE, I WALK, TALK AND ACT RIGHTEOUSNESS IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS.” HALLELUJAH!

Faith Filled Confession:

I am born again. I am God's reproduction. I am superior to darkness. I refuse to subject my mind to vain thoughts. I refuse to yield my body to sickness. I think right, talk right, and walk in righteousness, in the name of the Lord Jesus. I refuse to be demonized, because greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. Hallelujah!
