BE GUARDED

“Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good” (Ecclesiastics 9:18).

The biggest challenge to your faith is not sin or the devil; it’s the so called social media personalities and self appointed prophets and apostles who you have constantly allowed to speak into your life.

Listen, you can’t feed from people who who are cynical and judgmental about spiritual things and expect not to be cynical and judgmental about spiritual things.  When that happens, your faith will not produce the result that the Word of God talks about. Folks, don’t be deceived. It is impossible for you to constantly give attention to someone who is in ministry for the fame, critical of tithing, praying in the spirit and ministers of God and not grow weary in your faith or in how you view your own minister. Some people started out well; passionate and hungry for the things of God until they started listening to people that looked like they knew what they were saying, but in the process, they lost their passion for God. While some others even lost their faith. Just sounding “deep” does not mean that a person has any depth. Do you know that the bible says that you are blessed for not listening to worldly wisdom? I remember a fellow who gave every reason in the world why speaking in tongues and paying tithes was wrong. In my view, he was a bomb going somewhere to explode and my responsibility was to stay away from him as far as I could. His stand against tithes and speaking in tongues was a stand against victory and prosperity. And anyone who takes a stand against the Word of God should not be entertained as far as I am concerned. The bible describes them as mischief makers; divisive in nature. Titus 3:10 says “If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them.” This is because they are capable of destroying the works of God in your life.

Child of God, beware. Don’t allow anyone mislead you with their innuendos that have no root in the Word of God.

Faith Filled Confession

I give heed to the Word of God. For the Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.  I forsake my personal opinions for the counsel of God’s Word. Today, I choose to walk in love, I choose to dwell in peace with others and I choose to extend grace to others. Today is a day of victory for me and I declare that I am in health and prospering, in Jesus name, Amen.
