BE FULLY PERSUADED IN LOVE

8/18/2025

“Continue in brotherly love. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some have entertained angels without knowing it” (Hebrews 13:1–2).

Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Just as water is to the fish, the Word of God is to your spirit. It is your life-source and your atmosphere. Whether the world acknowledges it or not, the Word remains the final authority and the all-powerful working force of God.

Years ago, I made a decision: no matter what others believed, I would hold on to the reality of Christ and His eternal victory. I even said, “If every preacher I admire came and told me that Jesus and His conquest over sin, sickness, death, and Satan was fiction, I still wouldn’t change my persuasion—because the revelation of Jesus has become real in my spirit. I no longer just believe. I KNOW!”

This is the consciousness every believer must cultivate. Without it, you will live subject to public opinion rather than to the reality of God’s Word. Sadly, many have forfeited their inheritance in Christ because they allowed others’ unbelief to dictate their faith. I remember Pastor Benny Hinn sharing about a woman healed in his meetings. As long as she stayed in an atmosphere of faith, she thrived. But when she returned to a church that denied miracles, her sickness came back—and eventually claimed her life. The issue was not her healing, but her environment.

Beloved, stay persuaded about the Word of God. Today’s scripture reminds us: “Continue in brotherly love… show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some have entertained angels without knowing it.” The Holy Spirit is calling you to love in a world filled with anger, bitterness, and division. Don’t let the harshness of society harden your heart. Don’t allow negativity and strife to quench your love-walk.

Remember, Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” One of His greatest commands is to love. So choose love today. Choose kindness. Extend grace. You never know when that act of love is the very key God uses to release favor into your life.

Faith-Filled Confession:

Lord Jesus, I thank You for the transcendent life You have given me and for pouring Your love into my heart by the Holy Spirit. Today, I choose love over hate, kindness over anger, and forgiveness over bitterness. I refuse to be swayed by the world’s ways—I will walk in love and be an expression of Your heart to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
