ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING

4/20/2026

“I will become even more undignified than this… and I will be held in honor.” — 2 Samuel 6:22

Your attitude shapes your life. It determines how you respond to God, to people, and to the opportunities placed before you. In many ways, it will decide how far you go.

Saul lost his place not because he lacked ability, but because of his attitude. He valued the opinions of people above the instructions of God. When he failed, instead of humbling himself, he tried to preserve his image. Even in a moment that required repentance, he was still concerned about how he looked before others.

David was different. His focus was not on appearance, but on alignment with God. He was willing to humble himself completely—unconcerned about human opinion—because his priority was to honor God. That posture is what set him apart.

Child of God, as God lifts you, guard your heart. Do not let success change your sensitivity to His voice. Do not allow favor to produce pride.

The greater the blessing, the deeper your humility should be.

Even when misunderstood or corrected, remain teachable. Choose obedience over image. Choose alignment over approval.

Because in the end, it is not how men see you that matters—it is how you stand before God.

Your attitude will determine your altitude.

God bless you.

Faith-Filled Confession:

Father, I walk in humility and obedience. I choose Your will over my own and Your approval over the opinions of men. My heart remains aligned with You, and my life reflects Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
