ASK THE LORD FOR WATCHMEN OVER THE NATIONS

"Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest" (Matthew 9:38).

There are different types of laborers in the LORD's harvest with different job descriptions. Some ensure that the harvest is protected while others are positioned to reap the harvest. The harvest is the world of people. Akin to Jesus' parable, "... the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy, over it, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field." 

That said, God owns every human life on this planet legally. This is why 2 Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." He has no interest in the deaths of people, particularly the ones that are yet to be saved. 

This is why we must pray that God will send watchmen into His harvest. You see, there are about 195 countries in the world today, and from time to time, the kingdom of heaven requires different types of watchmen to deal with things like public safety, the salvation of souls, healing, economic development, and even the proliferation of innovation. As Jesus said, so many are called, but few are chosen for these positions at continental, national and grassroots, or community levels. 

From time to time, many receive prayer burdens for specific locations but fail to pray out these burdens, not knowing that the maturation of their destinies in God is tied to following these leadings of the Spirit. Aside from our CODE RED campaign, the LORD could prompt you to pray for someone or someplace you don't know in the natural, and your response should be affirmative. 

Let me tell you why watchmen are important. Watchmen pray the Spirit's prayer as part of their routine. Habakkuk 2:1 says, "I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected." In other words, the watchmen may hear the LORD say, "Pray for Mexico," not knowing why but in the natural maybe that country is about to go through a sovereign default in the next few weeks that will cause mass unemployment and cause some to perish and go to hell. He may say, "Pray for so-and-so," and you wonder why. Hear me, watchmen don't ask those kinds of silly questions; they just pray. 

Today, the LORD would have us pray for laborers, particularly watchmen who would have prophetic oversight in different territories over the world. 

Let's pray.

Faith-Filled Confession:

I collaborate with the Spirit of God in His search for watchmen. I also make myself available for this service, ready to be prompted by the Holy Spirit to pray for individuals and territories for which the LORD would require an intercessor. I am God's watchman on earth, and by my willingness, great joy is provoked in heaven. Hallelujah!

Psalms 67:2 TLB says, "Send us around the world with the news of your saving power and your eternal plan for all mankind."

Luke 10:2 says, "Therefore said He unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few, pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest."

Pray that God will mighty thrust more laborers into the harvest fields of the world, causing there to be an extraordinary tsunami of salvation.
