AN ATMOSPHERE OF MIRACLES

"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:20).

Today's theme scripture is so powerful that if we ever attain a full understanding of it, sickness, failure, and defeat will be alien in any type of gathering of the saints. Look at it again. "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20). It means that no matter the number if we gather in the name of the Lord Jesus, He is present in our midst. 

For illustrative purposes, imagine that anytime we came together as a church, the President of the United States of America was present; how would you conduct yourself? Would you plan ahead of such a gathering? Prepare your requests. Would you attend choreography rehearsals to entertain him? Would your attitude be welcoming to the president?

Now, snap back. Many believers attend meetings as though no one is present apart from the saints gathered. They pretend that Matthew 18:20 is not in the Bible. How, you might ask? They do not acknowledge the One in their midst, whom the Bible says is seated "far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come" (Ephesians 1:21).

See, if you got a bad report or knew someone who got a bad report, find yourself in or invite that person to the company of saints. Acknowledge by faith that God is in the midst of that gathering and that there is nothing His presence cannot resolve. Dance, sing, rejoice, and testify as though He is present because He is, and see the miraculous overtake such a gathering. 

If you want to see manifestations that you have yet to imagine, acknowledge His presence with awe whenever you gather for a family devotion meeting, life group meeting, church meeting, or any other sort of gathering of believers. One gathering of believers done like this can impact people for miles on end because we can even stand as representatives to secure miracles for people who are not present. The Almighty God is present in the midst of congregants and for this reason, anything is possible.

Be smart, take advantage of the opportunities that different gatherings present, and transport yourself from one level of glory to another.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am conscious of the divine presence in every meeting of saints for which I am a part. I take full advantage of the presence, knowing that in God's presence, anything is possible. Hallelujah!

Prayer Points:

Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May they prosper who love you."

• Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. 

• Pray against plans to use the crises in Israel to launch other attacks in the United States.

• Pray for Washington and all who are in positions of authority in the United States.
