“As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.” — 1 Timothy 6:17
Christianity is a life of affirmation. It’s a call to appropriate everything Jesus died for us to have.
1 Corinthians 3:21-23 says, “Therefore, let no one boast in men. For all things are yours—whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.”
If this is true (and it is!), why do so many believers still cry out, “Lord, give me this, give me that”? The answer is simple: many are functioning with second-hand information.
2 Peter 1:3 declares, “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” Notice the words “all things”and “everything.” Then 1 Timothy 6:17 confirms it again—God richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
Listen, when you were born again, the whole world and all that’s in it became your inheritance. All demons of affliction, sickness, destruction, and death were subdued under you. You have absolute authority over them and can command them as one who reigns in Christ.
Jesus told His disciples, “Do not rejoice that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10:20). In other words, the greatest miracle is your salvation. Don’t magnify what is nothing before God!
Christianity truly is a life of affirmation. God doesn’t expect you to come begging—for forgiveness, healing, or favor. You already have them in Christ!
Romans 8:17 says, “And if we are His children, then we are His heirs—heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, sharing His spiritual blessings and inheritance.”Hallelujah!
Forgiveness is your right, just as healing and divine provision are your rights. You don’t ask for what belongs to you—you simply take it by faith!
So when you go before God in prayer, don’t wear a “give-me, give-me” garment. Go boldly before your Father with a heart full of praise. Thank Him that you walk in dominion over devils and the circumstances of this world. Thank Him that your prosperity and progress are unstoppable by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank Him that you walk in miracles and that the world around you is being drawn into His presence through you.
Affirm His victory over your life. You have everything at your fingertips. Enjoy it, and bring others into this life of everlasting joy and victory. Hallelujah!
Faith-Filled Confession:
I have received all things that pertain to life and godliness. I refuse to live by second-hand information. I affirm daily that I am an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. I walk in victory, divine health, prosperity, and unending joy. Glory to God!
