ALIGNMENT: KEY TO PROTECTION AND INCREASE

"Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD" (Isaiah 54:16-17).

The child of God should never be subject to or experience spiritual attacks, but unfortunately, many are attacked spiritually every day. As a matter of fact, some sadly succumb to these attacks in the form of sickness, unemployment, failure, and even death. 

In today's theme scripture, the LORD says it is the present-hour heritage of His people to be impervious to any kind of assault. And here is how. In Colossians 3:3, the Bible says, "For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." In other words, you are in Christ, and Christ is in God, and for anything to harm you, that thing has to first collide with God and Christ as long as you are aligned with both of them. 

So why, then, do Christians who are attacked get attacked? They get out of alignment by thinking, talking, and behaving contrary to the scriptures. The moment their affections are no longer set on the Word of God, they vacate the protection of Christ and God, predisposing themselves to the assault of the enemy. 

Make no mistakes about it; there is a war in the spirit realm that we aren't called to fight because the war has already been won. Our role is to enforce our victory by our alignment with the divine. When the Bible declares to put on the whole armor of God (in Ephesians 6:11), it is because doing so validates Romans 8:37, which says, "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." In essence, we aren't lodged in any battles with anyone. Our role, like spiritual law enforcement officers, is to ensure that order is kept in our spiritual jurisdiction via divine alignment. 

Our enemy is unable to distinguish between a pattern, whether it is in heaven or earth, as long as it aligns with the divine. Balaam could not curse Israel but only bless them because in the realm of the spirit they were aligned in the arrangement of their tents with the divine pattern in heaven. 

Though He was paid to curse them, their alignment could only attract blessing. In Numbers 24:5-7, Balaam prophecies, "How lovely are your tents, O Jacob! Your dwellings, O Israel! Like valleys that stretch out, Like gardens by the riverside, Like aloes planted by the LORD, Like cedars beside the waters. He shall pour water from his buckets, And his seed shall be in many waters. His king shall be higher than Agag, And his kingdom shall be exalted."

Today, your alignment with the LORD in words, thoughts, and actions is presenting the enemy with a pattern to which he must conform. The enemy's conformity is to be subject to your alignment to the LORD, and so he cannot attack anything that he has been brought under.

Faith-Filled Confession

I align myself with the LORD today. And by so doing, the enemy is put to flight in my life. Of a necessity, as I submit my words, thoughts, and actions to God, the enemy can no longer distinguish me from my heavenly Father and, as such, remains in a state of perpetual defeat with respect to my affairs. Glory to God!

Prayer Point

Pray for those who have been inconsistent in their faith; that they be no longer children tossed to and fro and that Christ may be formed in their hearts as they are strengthened in those things that are most surely believed among us. (Lk 1:3, Eph 4:14)

Pray against fear, violence, wickedness, and all forms of injustice, declaring peace, progress, stability, and prosperity for the furtherance of God's kingdom. Pray that all malicious and antichrist policies and laws crafted to hinder the gospel be voided; that the name of the Lord be glorified. Amen.
