AGREEMENT AND FELLOWSHIP

“Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19

I remember when God said to me, about twenty-something years ago, “I don’t want anything from you. Just follow me.” Before this time, I had thought that God required something physical from me if I was going to succeed in ministry, only to hear Him say that he needed nothing from me. All He wanted was that I follow Him. I further inquired, "How, Lord?" And He said, "Listen to my Word, and I will guide you through the inward witness of my Spirit in you” To this, I gave my resounding YES! 

Just like He spoke to me many years ago, He is speaking to you today. And He is saying, “Follow me.”  In Matthew 4:19, Jesus said to His disciples, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Whether you are a pastor or someone who just accepted Jesus Christ into their lives today, God is saying, “Follow me, and I will…” For the disciples in Matthew 4, the invitation was to make them world changers.  For you, one thing is sure, this invitation to follow God will only result in something that will be attributed to the hand of God. 

I perceive a total turnaround for someone reading this. Your concerns of yesterday are about to become history. The questions that have been lingering in your heart about your future and that of your family are turning into a testimony. Whatever it is, I see you rejoicing and praising God. Hallelujah!

Again, regardless of where you are in your walk with God, God is saying, “Follow me”. To someone who will say, "I thought I was already following God." This invitation is for something higher and deeper. Revelation 4:1 says, “After this, I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” I perceive in my spirit that God is and has been talking to someone reading this, but your ears are clogged, and He is saying to you today, "Come out and come up for I have vital and time-sensitive information that you must be aware of before things unfold that will be to your disadvantage." In other words, God wants to deliver you from the expectation of the wicked.

Hebrews 3:5 says, “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.” I believe the voice of God is reverberating in your soul right now. Just say YES! Don’t try to rationalize it. This invitation is for your good. You will never be in a position of disadvantage when you say YESs. Whatever He is calling you into, just say, YES! Like he said to the disciples, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Your case will not be different. In Jesus' name

Faith-Filled Confession

I refuse to question the Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit in my life. The Word of God is the final authority in every aspect of my life. And this is my month of agreement and fellowship with the Word, in the name of the Lord Jesus.
