"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" (Amos 3:3)
Sometimes, people set agendas outside of God's agenda and wonder why things aren't working. They live lives of quiet desperation always waiting for the next paycheck at the end of the week; always sticking their noses in other people's business even as their own affairs are typically nothing to write home about.
The smart thing is to let God set your life's agenda and then, you just follow it to the minutest detail. This month, I am drawing your attention again and again to the word of the Lord concerning this season that it is A TIME TO ADVANCE. Coincidentally that's not what the rest of the world is saying. They are saying the opposite; crying about an oncoming recession, a time to shrink back. Question: Will their recession come to pass? Emphatically, yes.
But prophetically, God is already positioning you for something different and this is why you need to align with His agenda. Make no mistakes about it, God's agenda always heralds good news and bad news for two types of people. For His elect, it is a time to advance but for the people who know Him not, it is a time to recede. The Prophet Isaiah is very picturesque about this two-pronged nature of God's agenda when he says, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you." (Isaiah 60:1-2 NIV).
The ones who align with God will arise but the ones who are not aligned with God's agenda will be submerged in darkness. What then behooves you is to be caught on God's side, advancing into the new territories that He has earmarked for you to take.
But how do I know what new territories that the Lord would have me advance toward and take? Someone might ask. The answer to this question is in Corinthians 2:9-10: "But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God."
There are new nudgings that have come with this season. Follow these nudgings of the Spirit. If it is to have daily prayer meetings at work, comply. If it is to start a new life group comply. If it is to so a particular seed, comply.
The time of your advancement is upon you and you must advance in the direction of God's revelation to you.
Have a splendid day!
Faith-Filled Confession
I am energized by the word of God in my spirit to take new territories. I am not who I was before I received the word of God to advance. And I am further metamorphosed as I act on the nudgings of the Spirit of God to execute and register miracles to the glory of my Saviour Jesus Christ. Glory!!!
