A YEAR OF YOUR CHOOSING

"You'll decide what you want, and it will happen; your life will be bathed in light" (Job 22:28 Message)

What do you want out of this year? By now, you should have some clarity about the things that you want out of this year, 2024. For the most part of January, as we fasted and prayed, the Lord spoke certain instructions and produced certain desires in your heart for a reason. He knows that you have attained some maturity to make the right choices and to a large extent, those choices are in complete alignment with His agenda for your life. 

We have this inclination about God entrusting you with the right to choose your experiences this year from how He dealt with Abraham, our ancestor. In Genesis 18: 18-19 KJV, the Bible says, "Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him." 

John 15:7 says, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." God's testimony of you in 2024 was that you were completely aligned with Him so that every decision you made, happened. 

For this reason, pay remarkable attention to the Lord and take notes every time you hear the voice of God this year. Rehearse your notes every so often to clarify the thoughts you receive from the Lord, after which execution will naturally follow. Habakkuk 2:1-3 says, "I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected. Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry." 

The secret to making excellent decisions is rehearsing the things He has said to you until they are lodged deep down in your spirit. 1 Timothy 4:15 says, "Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all."

It is a year when your life will be bathed in light, so be rest assured, even when contrary winds show up, that the sail has been set, and all you need are the instructions and impressions that the Holy Spirit put in your heart. Rehearse these over and over, and your testimonies will be unstoppable.

Faith-Filled Confession

I make supernatural choices this year, choices that may defy logic but yield undeniable proof of my oneness with the Lord. I am set for an avalanche of unfathomable testimonies because the Potentate of creation lives in me. Hallelujah!

Prayer Points

• Declare that God's plan for our lives unfolds without hindrance.

• Express gratitude to God for those in positions of authority, acknowledging that their roles serve the greater good of the church; may all laws and policies enacted facilitate the unhindered spread of the gospel in our land, ensuring we are never at a disadvantage.

• Declare that no negative influence or unwarranted pressure from malicious individuals will divert our leaders from the path of truth, in Jesus' name. Amen.
