A YEAR OF BABIES

“Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says the LORD" (Isaiah 54:1).

At the Crossover Service into 2024, I made an announcement that this year would be a "Year of Babies," both physical babies and innovations that have been in incubation for a while. By the spirit, it is a year for taking delivery. 

Now, why is this important? It is important because a Kairos season for harvesting fruits is here. And due attention must be given to the harvest such that it is not corrupted or left unplucked beyond its due season. Isaiah states the possibility of this eventuality in Isaiah 5:4, which says, "What more could have been done to My vineyard That I have not done in it? Why then, when I expected it to bring forth good grapes, Did it bring forth wild grapes?"

And so, it is pertinent to be alert to the harvest, whether it is a natural baby or a brainchild because it is the modus operandi of the enemy to wait and strike at the time of delivery if he can't successfully terminate the gestation process. In Revelations 12:4-5, the scriptures say, "His [the dragon's] tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. And she gave birth to a Son, a male, who is going to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her Child was caught up to God and to His throne."

Even after Jesus was born, he attempted to terminate Jesus but the Bible says, " ...an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him" (Matthew 2:13).

The reason why the Lord graciously gave us this word is that there will be failed attempts on your God-appointed offspring. The instruction of God's Spirit is that you heighten your sensitivity to Him about your baby. 1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." This means confessing rightly, responding to promptings immediately, and offering Spirit-mandated sacrifices concerning the baby in your care. 

In agreement with you, I declare that you will bring your baby to term, and every resource of heaven required to do so is released unto you. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Faith-Filled Confession

I bring my babies to term by the power of the Holy Ghost. Every being that God seeks to birth through me is born healthy, strong, and great. And I am fully dependent on and helped by the Holy Spirit during this Kairos season. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer Point

We pray for all pregnant women in the church, all of our sisters who are expecting, and all expecting mothers. As we intercede, we declare no complications in Jesus' name. We decree that every pregnancy will be carried to full course, and the children are born healthy and strong and a blessing to the family in Jesus' name. We come against accidents and mishandling by medical personnel, in Jesus' name. We release angels to guide them and to lead them in Jesus' name. We decree health for the mother and baby. Lord, your angels are with them in Jesus' name. Amen.
