A WORRY FREE ZONE

“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all” (Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG). 

As a believer in Christ, you are a wonder to this world. There is nothing ordinary about you! The life and nature of God have been imparted into you, meaning God’s work on earth flows through you. Wherever you go, God goes. When you show up, God shows up. Hallelujah! You are not just human—you are a carrier of God’s presence. 1 Corinthians 6:19 says your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. That means you are a “God Zone,” and wherever a God Zone exists, nothing that opposes Christ is permitted to thrive. 2 Corinthians 3:17 declares, “...the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” That’s the reality of your life—you are a God Zone, and freedom follows you. 

Your life is designed to be free from worry, and you are called to bring that same worry-free atmosphere into every environment you enter. Unfortunately, many Christians are unaware that worrying is not in line with the nature of Christ. They worry about their children, spouse, bills, job, health, and even the weather! But Jesus didn’t die so we could live in fear and anxiety. In John 10:10 (NLT), He said, “...My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” This life has already been given to us. Why then do so many believers still struggle to live it? It’s often due to unbelief and a lack of revelation. That’s why we teach the Word and pray for the saints. Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:18 (VOICE), “Open the eyes of their hearts, and let the light of Your truth flood in.” 

Paul also prayed that we would grasp the vastness of the glorious life God has called us to live—a life free from anxiety, fear, and the draining effects of worry. Can you see it? Your very presence in a place is God’s solution to fear, anxiety, and anything that doesn’t align with His Word. 2 Corinthians 3:17 reminds us, “...the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” When you step into a room, God steps in too, and a God Zone is created—causing worry to lose its power. 

How do you activate this God Zone? By aligning your heart with the Word. Philippians 4:6 (VOICE) says, “Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray...” Your response should always be, “YES! I refuse to be anxious. Praise God!” If you’re still worried about things and people, how can you bring a worry-free zone to others? 

Understand this powerful truth: YOU ARE SATAN’S LIMITATION ON EARTH. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 says, “For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.” That “one” holding back the power of lawlessness is the presence of the Holy Spirit in you. 

So, when circumstances feel overwhelming, pause and declare your victory in Christ! As you do, the God Zone you carry is sustained and its influence expands—impacting your family, coworkers, friends, and neighbors.
