A PROPHETIC DAY OF REJOICING

"Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." (Nehemiah 8:10)
There is a prophetic day to celebrate, and this day is almost always characterized by nothing apparent for which to celebrate. Still, celebrate. There may even be things to sorrow for, disappointments and glib memories, but the Lord says, "Do not sorrow, for the joy of the YAHWEH is your strength."
This, therefore, means that instead of approaching joy as a residual or an after-effect of some positive happening, you approach it as a weapon for procuring testimonies. In such a prophetic moment, your prophetic response will be like Habbakuk, who said, "Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labour of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls—Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation" (Habakkuk 3:17-18).
Now, here is why this spiritual equation of joy as a weapon is important. Habakkuk 3:19 says, "The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments." So the moment you start to rejoice on your prophetic day of rejoicing, God's strength is released to launch you into a place of prominence and promotion.
See, on such a prophetic day, wear your best clothes. Cook a great meal. Do a dance now and let joy overwhelm your heart, in Jesus' name. Don't spare anything within your capacity to celebrate the wonder of our God.
Be blessed today in Jesus' name. Amen.
Faith-Filled Confession
I am full of joy today; far removed from every form of disadvantage and obstacle so that my joy knows no bounds. This is my notice of victory, prominence, and promotion in the realm of the spirit. Hallelujah!!!
