A New Species in Christ

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

A Christian is not someone who simply turned over a new leaf or decided to live a better life. No! It’s far greater than that. The day you received Christ into your life, something supernatural happened — you became a new creation; you received newness of life.

The Bible doesn’t say you will become a new creature; it says you are a new creature — a present-hour reality!

The term “new creature” means a new species of being. It’s not only about a new life beginning, but about a new kind of life entirely — a new type of man who never existed before. This new man belongs to a new race — the superman in Christ!

Jesus is the first among this divine class of supermen. He is called “the second Adam,”and the Scripture declares that we have been born in His likeness and image. That means you are like Him — one of His kind!

This new creation is not subject to Satan, sin, sickness, disease, or the adversities of this world. He was born a superior being— born of God, filled with the life of God, and destined to reign by the power of the Spirit!

Sadly, many still don’t understand what Christianity truly is. Some think being born again means changing your habits or becoming religious. But Jesus Himself introduced the term “born again” in John 3:3, saying,

“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The new creation is like a brand-new baby — no past, no record of sin or failure. The Bible says, “Old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

As far as God is concerned, the old you — with all your sins, failures, and limitations — no longer exists. Your past was buried in the tomb when Jesus died, and you rose with Him in newness of life. You are now His righteousness personified — the expression of His divine nature and glory!

Faith Declaration:

I am a new creation in Christ Jesus!

Old things are passed away, and all things have become new.

I’m a new species of being — born of God, filled with His life, and fashioned after the image of Christ.

I live above sin, sickness, fear, and defeat.

I am the expression of God’s righteousness, glory, and power in this world. Hallelujah!

Prayer Point

Matthew 9:38

Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

We pray that more labourers be added to the churches of Jesus Christ in our city, that the Gospel may spread even further in our cities.

Jeremiah 1:10 – See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Pray and declare that more and more of our brethren are granted supernatural opportunities and access in governance, business etc., and they are coming into positions of authority and decision making in their professions and cities.

Colossians 4:3 – Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ…

Pray for open and effectual doors to preach and teach the gospel in our city to thousands is open to us; we declare that our songs are on the lips of everyone in this region and that the influence of our sound will continue to grow and dominate religion and all forms of evil.

No matter what the situation is, we'd love to join our faith with you and believe God for a miracle and a change in your situation or circumstance. 

The Bible declares: "If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven”(Matthew 18:19).
