A NEW KIND OF MAN

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

When you come into Christ, you are not simply an improved version of your old self. You become a new creation!

God is not interested in simply changing your behavior while leaving your nature unchanged. In Christ, you have received a new life, a new nature, a new identity, and a new way of living.

The old man is no longer your identity. You are no longer defined by your past, your failures, your mistakes, or the limitations of your former life. You are a new kind of man!

A new kind of man thinks differently. A new kind of man speaks differently. A new kind of man responds differently. A new kind of man walks by faith and not by sight. A new kind of man is led by the Spirit of God.

You cannot continue living as though nothing has changed. Something has changed—Christ is in you!

The new creation must be expressed in your daily life. Let your words reflect your new nature. Let your decisions reflect your new identity. Let your relationships reflect the love of Christ. Let your faith reflect the reality of who you have become in Him.

You are not trying to become who God has already made you. You are learning to live from the reality of who you are in Christ.

So, rise above the old patterns. Refuse to return to what Christ has delivered you from. Walk in your new identity. Walk in righteousness. Walk in love. Walk in wisdom. Walk in victory. In Jesus name!

FAITH CONFESSION

I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old has passed away, and all things have become new. I am not defined by my past, my failures, or my circumstances. I am defined by God’s Word and my identity in Christ. I think differently, speak differently, and live differently. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
