A NEW COURSE EVERY DAY

09/29/2024

"By faith we understand that the world was framed by the word of God; that from invisible things visible things might be made." HEBREWS 11:3

I have heard many say, "what will be will be," and I can't tell you enough how dangerous this statement is. It is vital as a child of God to know that life is spiritual and nothing just happens. Just as God has a plan for your life, the devil also has a plan for your life. So living your life up to "whatever will be will be" is the most dangerous thing to be engaged in as a child of God. Jesus tells us in John 10:10, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)." In other words, living your to chance is an open invitation for the devil to do whatever he wants to do in your life.

1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour." Have you ever wondered why he instructs us to be sober? Because the devil will stop at nothing until he forces his agenda on us. The Bible says that he is seeking whom he may devour. Meaning, he is looking for those who have relaxed their hold on their confession of the Word. Jesus said in Matthew 13:25, "but while man slept, the enemy came and sowed tales among the wheat and went his way." So he says be sober-minded, awake, and vigilant at all times so as not to become prey to his schemes.

Child of God, take charge of your day and your life through the power of the Holy Spirit. Keep the devil on his heels. Don't allow anything to be in your life except those things that has God has ordained. Romans 5:17 tells us that "those who receive abundance of grace, and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by One, Jesus Christ." Child of God, you have been made to reign in life and not leave it to chances. You are anointed to reign every moment of the day, dominating and ruling over situations and circumstances in life. Praise God! And just how do we do this? Ecclesiastics 8:4 says, "for where the word of a king is there is power." So with faith-filled words, we chart our divine course every day.

Hallelujah!

Faith-Filled Confession:

I refuse any image of defeat, hopelessness, sickness, lack, oppression, disappointment, or darkness. My life is not susceptible to failure. I am the manifestation of God's beauty, and my life reflects all that I am in Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.
