A LIFE PREPLANNED BY GOD

3/11/2025

"So let God work His will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper" (James 4:7 MSG).

Nothing surprises God about your life. Everything about your life was preplanned, and God's desire is for you to live in the fulness of His plan. Ephesians 2:10 put it this way: "For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]." From this text, we can see that God has prearranged the good life for us to live. Therefore, we must not tolerate anything short of goodness.

Unforgiveness, fear, insecurity, and malice are inconsistent with the good life. A fellow once asked how long he was to put up with insult and abuse before showing to people that he wasn't weak. The answer is the same as Jesus gave to Peter when He said, "...70 times seven.." In other words, don't allow the character of darkness to influence the personality of God's light in you. You have been called to live the good life, so don't succumb to any distraction from this world.

God has a plan, and this plan is a good one. He wants to show off in and through you this day His excellent power. Do you understand the urgency of the Spirit to do wonders through you today? Have you come to terms with this reality, that you are God's dream fulfilled in the earth and that His intent is to see you live and manifest the reality of His eternal triumph over the kingdom of men and darkness? James 1:17 says, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." In other words,  His plan is not subject to times and seasons. Hence, He will not change His plan because of something you did or didn't do. His plan for your life is eternal. So let no man fool you that God's plan for divine health, protection, or providence does not apply to you because of your actions or inactions. Papa God decided to bless you even while you were still a sinner. His decision was based on His Love nature, not your works.

For this reason, the Spirit of God is urging you today to let Him do what He knows to do best--make you a wonder to your world. But for Him to do that, He needs you to put His Word in you. Colossians 3:16 says, "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." This requires you to give your attention to the Word with the intent of doing whatever it says. Jesus said,"  'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." To live this good life that He has prearranged for you, you must live in the Word. It is only in His Word that you can do and be all that He planned for you. James 4:7 says, "So let God work His will in you…."

My prayer for you today is that you will allow the Holy Spirit to have His way in and through you and that you will be diligent to get His Word in you.

God bless you!

Faith-Filled Confession:

I am God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus, and I do the things which God has prepared beforehand for me to do. And as I do, I experience and enjoy the good life which He already pre-planned for me. Today, I choose to allow the Word of God to dwell in me richly: in my thoughts, speech, and deeds.

Prayer Point

Declare that no influence, no pressure from wicked and unreasonable men will sway our brethren from the path of truth in the name of our Lord Jesus.
