A GLORIOUS DAY EVERY DAY

11/7/2023

"But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day" (Proverbs 4:18).

Jesus assures us with these words: ”I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world, you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you]" (John 16:33). We have an eternal guarantee of perfect peace from our Lord, Jesus, irrespective of prevailing circumstances. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 118:24, "This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

Proverbs 4:18 further describes the trajectory of our lives as Christians. It says, "...the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” The word "light" in this text is synonymous with glory. God sees concerning you a trajectory of glory not dependent on prevailing circumstances. Although challenges may arise, God's radiant glory will consistently prevail on your behalf, pulling you ahead in all endeavors. The Bible says, "...we are not of those who shrink back to destruction but of those who have faith to the preservation of the soul" (Hebrews 10:39). In essence, our light shines forth to the preservation of our soul, allowing us to enjoy all that Jesus has made available to us.

So, have no fear! Plough through the obstacles, taking advantage of God's ever-present grace, not on the hills or with man but in your mouth! Open your mouth and unleash a tsunami of blessings until you see your life align completely with God's Word!

You are blessed!

Faith-Filled Confession:

I have subdued every adversity and gloriously triumphed over the world and its systems. Nothing can hold me back even as I move forward and upward. In Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah!
