A DAY OF THANKSGIVING

1/25/2026

Psalm 67

“May God be merciful and bless us. May His face smile with favor on us.

May Your ways be known throughout the earth, Your saving power among people everywhere.

May the nations praise You, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise You.

Let the whole world sing for joy, because You govern the nations with justice and guide the people of the whole world.

May the nations praise You, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise You.

Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless us.

Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear Him.”

Psalm 143:5

“I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done.”

John 17:4

“I have glorified You on the earth: I have finished the work which You gave Me to do.”

Many people go through life constantly hustling—searching for the next big thing. It becomes an endless cycle for them. They move from job to job, relationship to relationship, hoping the next change will finally bring fulfillment.

Unsatisfied with life, they seek meaning in material things, status, or achievements. Yet the truth remains: there is no true satisfaction or fulfillment outside of Jesus Christ.

The answer to life’s deepest questions is found in Him—and in His Word. In the Word of God, we discover who we are and what belongs to us. Until we know who we are in Christ and what He has freely given to us, we cannot enjoy the peace that transcends circumstances and situations.

Jesus said to the Father in John 17:4, “I have glorified You on the earth: I have finished the work which You gave Me to do.” This tells us something powerful: something has already been done about your circumstances.

As a believer, it is your responsibility to discover exactly what Christ has already accomplished.

  • Did He do something about your salvation?

  • Did He address your healing?

  • Did He make provision for your needs?

You cannot answer these questions by looking at yourself or your circumstances—you must look into the Word. When you search the Scriptures for yourself, you will discover firsthand that Jesus has already made full provision for your life. Your salvation, your healing, and every need have been fully met in Christ.

Ephesians 1:3 declares:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”

Child of God, every blessing is already yours in Christ Jesus. The fact that you may not yet be experiencing some of these blessings does not make the Word of God untrue. Rather than judging the Word by your circumstances, choose instead to judge your circumstances by the Word—because the Word never fails. The Word is truth.

Jesus Himself said in Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” So lift your eyes beyond what you see and fix them on the Word of God. Do not be overwhelmed by the size of the challenges before you; instead, remain conscious of the BIG God who lives inside you.

As we conclude our twenty-one days of fasting and praying, take time to thank God for answered prayers. Thank Him for the miracles that have already been accomplished in your life this year—even the ones you cannot yet see. Make a conscious decision to turn your focus away from the physical and dominate your world with thanksgiving. So much is already happening for you. Why not praise God for it all?

Prayer Points

  • Spend today thanking God that the Word spoken at the start of the year is manifesting in your life and in our ministry.

  • Praise God that what we have prayed for is already done, and thank Him for doing exceedingly abundantly above all we have asked or imagined.

Faith-Filled Confession

“I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.

I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together” (Psalm 34:1–3).
