5+ME: PRAY

"Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you." (Hosea 10:12)

In the accomplishment of the 5+ME mandate of God on our church, the first thing to do is PRAY. Soul winning cannot be effective without prayer. Now I know that this might sound obvious but there is a way to pray before you go out to initiate conversions. Ephesians 5:18-19 says, "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord."

You don't need to pray long to be drunk in the Holy Spirit and all you need do is speak in "...in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord"(Ephesians 5:19). This activity settles the soul winning personnel in the area of boldness and the anointing to evangelize. 

Next, you pray for the people in your jurisdiction, "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1-4). In other words, you don't pray for people that you like or people that you agree with politically. You pray for everyone in your sphere of contact irrespective of creed, sexual orientation, looks or ethnicity. 

Lastly, you pray for opportunity and the recognition thereof. Colossians 4:2-4 says, "Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak." The only way you will be tuned in God-moments earmarked for the salvation of others is by praying this way.

Pray this way before you go ahead to evangelize to or invite others and watch a miracle take place, every day.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am the extension of God's love to everyone in my ordination. I declare that I am on the path of those I should impart this year and they are on my path. And in that moment of divine predestination, these ones who are to come to Christ are brought into the kingdom through the mandate of God on my life so that the Lord Jesus Christ is glorified. Praise God
